Edgard Salvé

Edgard Salvé (born August 1, 1946 in Bensberg ) is a former Belgian medium and long-distance runner .

Over 1500 m he was fifth at the European Indoor Games in 1967 in Prague and reached the semi-finals at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City. In 1969 he won the European Indoor Games in Madrid and was fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Athens . At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1970 in Vienna, he was seventh.

In 1971 he was eliminated from the European Indoor Championships in Sofia over 1500 m and 3000 m in the preliminary run. Even at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he did not get past the first lap over 1500 m.

In 1973 he failed at the European Indoor Championships in Rotterdam in the 1500 m run and came 40th at the World Cross Country Championships in Waregem . At the European Indoor Championships in Katowice in 1975 he was seventh over 3000 m.
