The Egyptian Premier League 1959/60 was the 10th season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football . Champion was al Zamalek SC for the first time , new to the league and al-Ittihad Al-Sakndary was relegated . The defending champion and winner of the last eight championships was al Ahly Cairo , Al Teram was no longer represented in the top division .
