The 5th World Figure Skating Championship took place on February 10th and 11th, 1900 in Davos ( Switzerland ).
There were only two participants. Gustav Hügel won his third and last world championship title by relegating Ulrich Salchow to second place for the third time after 1897 and 1899 .
