The 22nd World Figure Skating Championships were held for men and couples on February 26 and 27, 1924 in Manchester , United Kingdom and for women on February 16 and 17, 1924 in the Norwegian capital Kristiania (now Oslo ).

The later three-time Olympic champion and ten-time world champion Sonja Henie took part in the world championships for the first time this year at the age of eleven and finished fifth.
