The 111th World Figure Skating Championships are scheduled to take place in the French city ​​of Montpellier from March 21 to 27, 2022 . This was decided by the International Skating Union (ISU) at the annual congress in June 2019 in the Italian capital Rome . The competitions are to be held in the Sud de France Arena . For the first time, Montpellier will host the World Figure Skating Championships. So far, France has hosted world championships three times (in 1971 in Lyon , 2000 and 2012 in Nice ).
