FEM (short for feminine and Norwegian for five ) is a Norwegian TV station that went on air on September 3, 2007. The broadcaster's programming is geared towards women and includes soap operas , feature films , talk shows and documentaries . The broadcast is from Great Britain . In addition to FEM, Discovery Inc. also operates the TVNorge , MAX and VOX channels in Norway .

In November 2009, the former owner ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG announced that it would start FEM.TV in Germany under the name sixx . It started broadcasting on May 7, 2010. At the beginning of April 2013, Discovery Inc. finally took over the former SBS stations, including FEM , from ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG.
