Fler is the fourth solo album by the eponymous rapper Fler . It was released on March 27, 2009 as his last release on the Aggro Berlin label .

content

In contrast to the previous album, Fremd im Eigenland, there are more profound and personal songs on the album in addition to the battle tracks typical of Fler (e.g. rap electro shock , Scheiß Auf Dich , Ich Fick Dich ). This is how Fler processes his time in psychiatry ( Mein Haus ), raps about his school days (school song ) and looks back on his career or his life ( Ewigkeit , I Will Never Forget ). He wrote most of the lyrics to the more profound songs together with Sera Finale .

production

The album was produced mainly by Djorkaeff and Beatzarre , who also produced most of the beats together. Paul NZA is responsible for a beat in collaboration with Marek Pompetzki . Shuko also assisted in a production.

Cover design

The left part of the cover shows Fler , wearing a leather jacket. In the right part there is the lettering Fler , which is represented by neon advertising in the background. The album was sold in a cardboard slipcase.

Guest Posts

In addition, the rapper Reason has another guest part on "Gangsta" rapper and Sera Finale raps on What is Peace ??!?! a 16. Furthermore, the rapper bass Sultan Hengzt can be heard on a song ( Scheiß auf dich ) and the producer Beatzarre sings the chorus of I'll never forget .

Max Brandl from laut.de rated the album with three out of a possible five points. With the sound carrier, Fler "clearly consolidates his status as a prominent institution in the street rap business" through "his vocal presence with the arrogance elevated to a stylistic device," which is his "trademark". Especially the first single Check mich aus is "a monster of a track, an uncompromising board to the skull of [...] German hip hop." let alone a milestone “good.
