Atlantis is the 16th solo album by the Berlin rapper Fler . It was released on March 20, 2020 for streaming and download via his own label Masculin . A week later it was also physically released as a standard edition as well as a limited deluxe box. The album is distributed by Universal Music .

The entire album was produced by Flers' music producer Simes Branxons.
Cover design
The album cover (like the title and the release date) was changed several times in advance. The final cover shows Fler wearing a rain jacket and looking seriously at the viewer. In the background you can see a Mercedes car that is being washed in a car wash . No lettering was used.
Guest Posts
In addition to Fler, other rappers appear on five songs on the album. So Sido on the single Lost to hear while Farid Bang on song Bentley Abi is involved. Summer Cem makes a guest appearance on the Ketamine track , and Gringo works with Fler on Dopeboys . The piece Dreamer is also a collaboration with Sierra Kidd .

Atlantis entered the German charts on March 27, 2020 only due to streaming and downloads . After physical release the following week, the album reached number one on the German album charts. Overall, it was able to stay in the top 100 for five weeks.
On August 19, 2019, the song Shirinbae was released as the first single for download and reached number 45 in the German charts. The second release Fame followed on October 24th and climbed to 66th place in the charts. On November 22, 2019, the third single Noname , a disstrack against Fler's former companion Bushido , was released and occupied position 80 in the German charts. The song Grind was released on February 14, 2020 and reached number 39, before the fifth single, Lost, was released on March 13, 2020 , which in turn reached number 36. Music videos were also released for the songs Fame and Grind .

Florian Düker from laut.de rated Atlantis with two out of a possible five points. He describes it as a “moderately entertaining album,” which “only fler fans who ignore US rap will be knocked off their feet”. The rapper mainly copied the American artists Gunna and Future . In addition, "the 16 tracks could just as easily be played on shuffle without the listener noticing." The production by Simes Branxons, however, seems "overall coherent." The songs Ketamine and Dopeboys are positively mentioned .
