The state against Patrick Decker is a best-of album by the Berlin rapper Fler . It was released on December 4th, 2015 on his own label, Maskulin Music Group .

The compilation contains 38 songs from Fler's entire musical career up to now, starting with the collab album Carlo Cokxxx Nutten , from 2002, up to his twelfth solo album Weil die Straße not forget , from 2015. The selected songs are predominantly previously released singles by the rapper. With four tracks, most of the pieces were taken from Fler 's second solo album Trendsetter , followed by the albums Neue Deutsche Welle , Fremd im Eigen Land and Fler , from which three titles each originate. The sound carriers Carlo Cokxxx Nutten , Airmax Muzik II , In the bus at the very back , Südberlin Masculin II , Blaues Blut , Neue Deutsche Welle 2 , Nobody gets along with me and Because the road doesn't forget are represented with two songs each. In addition, one song each was taken from the albums Aggro Ansage No. 2 , Numma Eyns , Aggro Anti Ansage No. 8 , Carlo Cokxxx Nutten 2 , Flersguterjunge , Berlins Most Wanted , A Fall for Two and Behind Blue Eyes .
It also includes six previously unreleased tracks on Der Staat gegen Patrick Decker . The tracks Credibil , Fake IDs and Air System are completely new, while the tracks Fick Freunde (from 2005), Bleib Chef (from 2009) and Easy (from 2009) are from earlier years.

The beats of the songs selected for the album were produced by many different music producers . Among these are DJ Desue , Bushido , Beatzarre , Djorkaeff , Paul NZA , Gee Futuristic , Hijackers , DJ Tomekk , DJ Ilan , Shuko , Goofiesmackerz , Iad Aslan, Montana Beats and Fuego.

In addition to Fler, other artists can be heard on 20 tracks on the album. Fler's long-time companion Bushido has the most appearances with five guest contributions (four of them under his alter ego Sonny Black ), followed by the rappers Silla and G-Hot , who are each represented three times. Fler is supported on two songs by the rapper Jalil , who can also be heard on the new song Air System . There is also a guest appearance by DJ Tomekk , the US rapper Juelz Santana , the singers Shizoe and Moe Mitchell , the singer Doreen and the rappers Sido , Kool Savas , Kay One and MoTrip . Furthermore, the skit Alles gucci is a phone call with the rapper Money Boy .

On October 26, 2015, Fler published the song Credibil on YouTube and in November three snippets for the album appeared. A music video for the song Air System was also released on November 30, 2015 .

The website laut.de gave the album only two out of a possible five points and describes it as the "chronology of a musical decline":
“ Despite all the scorched earth, Fler digs up tracks from the now legendary" Carlo Cokxxx Nutten "as well as tracks from dusty aggro samplers, which thanks to the new mastering shine with better quality and clearly form the showpiece of the record. […] After "Mit Dem BMW" at the latest, the fog of nostalgia slowly evaporates and the Best Of mutates into a test of patience. Frank White knows no mercy and does not even spare us from the absolute lows of the masculine era. [...] How many runs Flizzy has missed in the meantime is documented by the compilation down to the smallest detail. [...] The musical downturn ends with six previously unreleased songs that have not made it onto a solo record for a reason. "
