Flickers

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Flickert is a district in the southwest of Leipzig .

It borders on the districts Lausen in the north, Großzschocher in the east, Knautkleeberg and Albersdorf in the south and Göhrenz in the west. The Flickert district is undeveloped and is only used for agriculture.

Later the area Flickert belonged to the community of Göhrenz. On March 1, 1994, the community of Göhrenz with Albersdorf and Mark Flickert was incorporated into the town of Markranstädt .

Since the spin-off from the city of Markranstädt on April 30, 1994, the Flickert district and the part of the Göhrenz district east of the Lausen – Albersdorf road have belonged to the city of Leipzig, where they were assigned to the Großzschocher district.

Picking puff

The village of Pflückuff, which was mentioned in a document in 1469, used to be in the Flickert district. The district was originally larger; individual plots of land (probably as the property of the residents leaving the village) were flooded into the surrounding districts.
