Franz Donth (born July 14, 1904 in Rochlitz an der Iser , Bohemia ) was a Czechoslovak cross-country skier .

Donth, who worked as a woodcutter, won the silver medal over 18 km and the gold medal over 50 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Janské Lázně in 1925 . Two years later he won the bronze medal over 50 km and the silver medal over 18 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo . At the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz , he achieved 14th place over 50 km and 11th place over 18 km. At his last World Cup participation in Zakopane in 1929 , he ran ninth place over 18 km and eighth place over 50 km. In 1925 and 1927 he became Czechoslovakian champion over 50 km.
