Franz Gottschalk

Franz "Hellboss" Gottschalk is a Danish guitarist and bass player . He is a member of the bands Blood Eagle and Dirt Torpedo and was previously in various bands, including a. Volbeat and Illdisposed active.

Career

Gottschalk appeared musically for the first time with the band Hypodermic, with whom he recorded the album In Between . He then joined the band Dominus and played on their last album Godfellas . In 2002 Gottschalk became a member of the band Volbeat, which was founded a year earlier by the former Dominus singer Michael Poulsen . Gottschalk replaced the guitarist Teddy Vang and can be heard on the first two Volbeat albums The Strength / The Sound / The Songs and Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil . At the end of 2006 he had to leave Volbeat. In an interview, Poulsen stated that Gottschalk behaved disrespectfully towards the crew and the other bands at concerts.

About a year later Gottschalk became a member of the band Illdisposed and made his debut on their album The Prestige . Illdisposed parted ways with Gottschalk again in July 2011. In 2013 Gottschalk founded the hard rock band Dirt Torpedo and the death metal band Blood Eagle with musician friends .
