Kaspar Boye Larsen
Kaspar Boye Larsen (born March 10, 1975 ) is a Danish bass player . He plays in the bands Volbeat , The Candidate and Thorium and was previously a member of Withering Surface .
Career
Larsen was one of the founding members of the melodic death metal band Withering Surface in October 1994 , which comes from the city of Naestved and released four albums. At the end of 2004, Withering Surface broke up and Larsen and guitarist Allan Tvedebrink founded the thrash metal band The Downward Candidate , which was later renamed The Candidate. With The Candidate Larsen released two studio albums. He also joined the death metal band Thorium, with whom he released the album Feral Creation in 2008 . In April 2016, the band Volbeat announced that Larsen would accompany them on their upcoming North American tour. Larsen had already helped out for a few concerts at Volbeat ten years earlier. A month later, Larsen became a permanent member of the band as the successor to Anders Kjølholm .
