Live from Beyond Hell / Above Heaven is the third DVD by the Danish metal band Volbeat . It was released on November 25, 2011 via Universal Records .

The first DVD contains a recording of the concert in the Copenhagen Forum on November 19, 2010, when Volbeat played in front of around 10,000 spectators. Almost all of the guest musicians featured on the band's studio albums performed at the concert. Jacob Øelund plays the double bass in the song 16 Dollars . Lars-Göran Petrov of the band Entombed , who played the opening act at the concert, took over the vocals for the song Evelyn , in which the original Barney Greenway from Napalm Death can be heard . Pernille Rosendahl from the band The Storm appears on the song Mary Ann's Place . At 7 Shots plays Michael Denner , a guitar solo and Kreator vocalist Mille Petrozza can be heard as a guest singer. The boxer Mikkel Kessler joins A Warrior's Call , the written by the band for him entrance music. Most recently Johan Olsen appeared on the song The Garden's Tale . The intro contains excerpts from the work Dance of the Knights by the Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev . In Sad Man's Tongue the band plays parts of the song Holy Diver by the band Dio , while in The Human Instrument excerpts from the song Raining Blood by the band Slayer are played.
The second DVD begins with a recording of the concert at House of Blues in the Californian city of Anaheim on April 9, 2011. The song Angel Fuck is a cover version of a song the band Misfits . Rob Caggiano from the band Anthrax appears as a guest singer . On the song I Only Wanna Be With You , Volbeat is supported by anthrax guitarist Scott Ian . This is followed by three songs that were recorded when Volbeat performed at the Rock am Ring Festival on June 5, 2011. The second DVD ends with backstage impressions.

Christof Leim from the German magazine Metal Hammer described Live from Beyond Hell / Above Heaven as a “cool live document”. The DVD shows that Volbeat is “simply having fun live” and performing “great rock cinema with a lot of oomph in image and sound”. Glue gave the DVD six out of seven points. Frank Albrecht from the German magazine Rock Hard described the material as "coherent", but criticized "small weaknesses in the setlist". The readers of Metal Hammer voted Live from Beyond Hell / Above Heaven the best DVD of 2011. In Germany, the DVD was awarded platinum .
