A Warrior's Call is a song by the Danish metal / rockabilly band Volbeat . The band wrote the song as invasion music for the Danish boxer Mikkel Kessler .

Emergence

The song was recorded in November 2009 at Hansen Studios in the Danish city of Ribe . Text and music were written by singer and guitarist Michael Poulsen . The album was produced by Jacob Hansen . Mikkel Kessler appeared as a guest singer.

The song was created when Kessler asked the band Volbeat to write a new marching song for him on the occasion of his invitation to the Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament. Previously, Kessler used other Volbeat songs, such as B. "Find that Soul". Volbeat singer Poulsen immediately accepted.

“I'm a big boxing fan and I've followed Kessler closely over the years. It is a great honor to support him in this way and to be part of one of the biggest boxing events. "
