Christian Salomon Friedrich Hesse (born January 14, 1796 in Haale ; † January 25, 1868 in Bitburg ) was a Prussian administrative officer and district administrator for the districts of Bitburg and Saarbrücken .

Origin and life

Friedrich Hesse was a son of the district office secretary Johann Carl Hesse and his wife Maria Elisabeth, geb. Reichhold. After attending a Latin school in Halle, he also began studying law in Halle , but did not complete it. From 1813 he served as a volunteer until October 1, 1817, when he took a year off for preparatory service at the Trier government in order to qualify for a civil service. From March to June 1818 he was acting district secretary in Merzig and from December 1, 1818 assistant secretary until he became secretary of the Trier government on July 1, 1819. On April 11, 1831, he received his appointment as Acting District Administrator of Bitburg, followed by the service introduction on 1 May, took office on May 15, the 1,831th On December 17, 1836, he was appointed provisional district administrator of the Saarbrücken district by rescript , which was followed by the commencement of official business on January 1, 1839 and the definitive appointment as district administrator on July 1, 1837. Since his time as a member of the Lützow Freikorps from 1813/14, Hesse was a supporter of the gymnastics movement, for whose political ideals he was involved in Trier as a member of the first gymnastics community from 1818 to 1820, as well as in Saarbrücken , where he was an honorary member of the 1848/49 democratic gymnastics club. For the moderate democrats , Hesse was a member of the Prussian National Assembly in 1848 and in 1849 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Daun-Prüm-Bitburg constituency .
