geography

history
In the course of the separation of the Schrampschen Moors after 1765, the establishment of a Holländerei Friedrichsmilde was planned.
In 1782 the Friedrichsmilde colony was established. To the colonist village belonged a 1.5 kilometers northwest of the homonymous Vorwerk, in which the domain Arendsee owned.
In the parish lexicon of 1873, an independent parish Colonie Friedrichsmilde with 45 inhabitants and an associated Vorwerk with 25 inhabitants in 1871 are mentioned. Only 8 inhabitants of the Friedrichsmilde Colony belonged to the Schrampe municipality .
In 1909 the Vorwerk Friedrichsmilde belongs to the manor district Remontedepot Arendsee and the village Friedrichsmilde now belongs entirely to the rural community Schrampe. In 1931, Vorwerk and Dorf finally belong to Schrampe.
At the beginning of the 20th century, a windmill stood southeast of the village on the banks of the Arendsee .
After that, Friedrichsmilde is no longer listed in directories for a long time, not even in the district directory of the state of Saxony-Anhalt in 2006. Since 2011, Friedrichsmilde has been listed as a place to live in Zießau.
In the Saxony-Anhalt Viewer, Friedrichsmilde is assigned to the Schrampe district.
