The Hamburg Football Association 2000/01 was the 56th season of the top amateur class of the Hamburg Football Association . The Association League Hamburg was a league level below the Oberliga Nord . It was held in a relay.
Compared to the previous season , SC Concordia Hamburg came back to the association league after six seasons from the Oberliga Nord, plus the two promoted Bramfelder SV ( promotion after two years) and VfL 93 Hamburg ( promotion after one season).
The winner was SC Concordia Hamburg. Together with the runner-up ASV Bergedorf 85 he rose directly to the Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein Oberliga . The third of the association league, Altona 93 , played two promotion games against the third placed of the association league Schleswig-Holstein , the FC Kilia Kiel , and lost on penalties.
At the end of the season, the teams had to relegate to the last three places. The ETSV Altona-Eidelstedt, the SpVgg Este 06/70 and the TSV Reinbek had to leave the association league after two seasons. Blau-Weiß Schenefeld withdrew his team at the end of the season after six years in the district league.
