The Hamburg City Football League 1946/47 was the second season of Hamburg's top division after the Second World War . The champions were FC St. Pauli , which qualified for the newly founded Oberliga Nord together with Hamburger SV , SC Concordia Hamburg and SC Victoria Hamburg .

FC St. Pauli and Hamburger SV also qualified for qualifying games for participation in the championship of the British zone . FC St. Pauli did not compete against Holstein Kiel , while Hamburger SV eliminated VfB Lübeck and then became champions of the British zone through victories against FC Schalke 04 , Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and Borussia Dortmund .

A descent from the city league did not take place. For the following season 1948/49 a two-track association league was set up in Hamburg, which replaced the city league.
