The Hamburg State Football League 1968/69 was the 24th season of the highest amateur class in Hamburg . The Landesliga Hamburg was a league level below the Regionalliga Nord . It was held in a relay.

Compared to the previous season , Altona 93 came back to the regional league after 16 years from the Regionalliga Nord, plus the three promoted TSV Duwo 08 (return after eleven seasons), TuS Hamburg 1880 (reassignment after one year) and TuS Finkenwerder (return after 20 years ).

The winner was the Langenhorn TSV . Together with the runner-up TSV Uetersen , who had prevailed in the playoff against VfL Pinneberg , he took part in the promotion round to the Regionalliga Nord . There both missed the ascent as third or last of their group.

At the end of the season, the teams had to relegate to the last four places. TuS Hamburg 1880 and TuS Finkenwerder had to leave the league after one season, TSG Bergedorf after four seasons and Wilhelmsburger FV 09 after twelve years.
