The Football Association League Hamburg 1985/86 was the 41st season of the top amateur class of the Hamburg Football Association . The Association League Hamburg was a league level below the Oberliga Nord . It was held in a relay.

Compared to the previous season , no team from the Oberliga Nord came into the association league, only the three promoted SV Börnsen ( promotion after one season), FC Süderelbe and SC Eilbek (both in the top Hamburg amateur class for the first time).

The winner was the amateur team of Hamburger SV . Together with the runner-up 1. SC Norderstedt he took part in the promotion round to the Oberliga Nord . Both finished their group on the penultimate place and missed the ascent.

At the end of the season, the teams had to relegate to the last three places. SC Eilbek had to leave the association league after one season, TSV Duwo 08 after two seasons and SC Urania Hamburg after ten seasons.
