The Football Association League Hamburg 1999/2000 was the 55th season of the top amateur class of the Hamburg Football Association . The Association League Hamburg was a league level below the Oberliga Nord . It was held in a relay.
Compared to the previous season , SV Halstenbek-Rellingen came back to the Association League after five seasons from the Oberliga Nord, plus the four newly promoted HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst (re- promotion after seven years), TSV Reinbek (re- promotion after eight years), ETSV Altona -Eidelstedt and SpVgg Este 06/70 (both in the top Hamburg amateur class for the first time).
ASV Bergedorf 85 was the winner . Due to the reduction of the regional league to two seasons, there was no direct promoter. Bergedorf had to play two promotion games against the winner of the Schleswig-Holstein Association League , VfR Neumünster , and could not prevail.
At the end of the season, the teams had to relegate to the last three places. The Wedeler TSV had to leave the association league after four seasons, the SC Langenhorn after nine seasons and the Barsbütteler SV eight years after its promotion.
