The 2014 season of the German Football League 2 was the 33rd season of the GFL 2, the second highest division of American football in Germany.

The Hamburg Huskies became champions in the North Season. Since only seven teams played in the GFL Nord in the 2014 season , the Hamburg Huskies were athletically qualified for the GFL without relegation. Last in the group were the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates, who were relegated to the regional league.

The Kirchdorf Wildcats were the southern champions in GFL 2. However, they could not prevail in the relegation against the Franken Knights , the bottom of the group of the GFL South, and therefore remained in the GFL 2 South. Last in the group were the Frankfurt Pirates, who were relegated to the regional league in terms of sport.

Relegation to promotion to the GFL

North

Since there were only seven teams in the North Group in the GFL 2014 , there was no relegation in the North in 2014. As champions of the GFL 2 Nord, the Hamburg Huskies qualified directly for the GFL.
