The 2013 season of the German Football League 2 was the 32nd season of the GFL 2, the second highest division of American football in Germany.

In the North relay, the Bielefeld Bulldogs were able to secure the championship. However, they failed in the subsequent relegation for promotion to the German Football League at the Cologne Falcons and thus remained in the GFL 2 in the 2014 season . The last two Cottbus Crayfish and Rostock Griffins were relegated to the regional league.

The Allgäu Comets , who were able to prevail in the relegation against the Wiesbaden Phantoms and thus rose to the GFL, were champions of the South Season . The last two of the season, the Starnberg Argonauts and the Kaiserslautern Pikes , were relegated to the Regionalliga .
