The Golden Raspberry 2020 ( english 40th Golden Raspberry Awards ) records the worst films of the film year 2019 from, based on the votes of the members of the Golden Raspberry Foundation. Unlike in previous years, a separate schedule (different from the Oscars ) was drawn up. Films could be nominated until February 2nd. The nominations were announced on February 8, 2020. The Golden Raspberry was originally supposed to be awarded on March 14th and broadcast live on television for the first time. The award ceremony was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic . The winners were announced on March 16 on YouTube .
