history

In the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Colmberg from 1608, 12 teams are recorded for Hürbel: 7 properties were subordinate to the Colmberg caste office , 13 properties to the Jochsberg Vogtamt and 2 properties to the Wiedersbach manor . The High Court exercised the Vogtamt Colmberg . In the 16-point report of the Colmberg Oberamt from 1681, the manorial conditions for Gunzendorf are unchanged.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 13 properties in Hürbel. The High Court and the village and community rule exercised the Vogtamt Colmberg. The landlords were the Principality of Ansbach (Kastenamt Colmberg: 1 Halbhof, 5 Köblergüter , 2 half Köblergüter; Vogtamt Jochsberg: 2 courtyards, 1 Köblergut) and the Wiedersbach manor of the Lords of Eyb (1 Halbhof, 1 Köblergut). In addition to the property, there were stately buildings (tithe barn), ecclesiastical buildings (parish church, Widdumgut) and communal buildings (shepherd's house, breaker's house ). At that time there were 12 subject families. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

As part of the community edict, Hürbel was assigned to the Frommetsfelden tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Frommetsfelden, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818) it was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Bieg . On July 1, 1972, Hürbel was incorporated into Geslau as part of the regional reform .
