history
In the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Colmberg from 1608, eight teams are listed for Unterbreitenau, all of which had the imperial city of Rothenburg as their landlord . The High Court exercised the Vogtamt Colmberg . In the 16-point report of the Colmberg Oberamt from 1681, the manorial conditions for Unterbreitenau are unchanged. However, the high court was disputed by Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst , which could not be settled until 1710 through a contract in favor of the Vogtamt Colmberg.
Towards the end of the 18th century, there were seven properties in Unterbreitenau (1 courtyard, 1 half courtyard, 5 Köbler estates ) and a crushing house belonging to the municipality. The High Court exercised the Vogtamt Colmberg. The imperial city of Rothenburg held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .
As part of the municipal edict, Unterreitenau was assigned to the Schwabsroth tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Schwabsroth, founded in 1810 . On January 1, 1972, Unterbreitenau was incorporated into Geslau as part of the regional reform .
