Reviews

The film was rated less well by American critics than its predecessor and scored 57 out of 100 points by Metacritic . James Berardinelli wrote that the film delivers what fans expected. The critic of the media service of the evangelical organization Focus on the Family advised against the film, among other things because, according to his count, the protagonists violate “at least 9 of the 10 commandments ” and about 125 F-words and 50 S-words can be heard.

The lexicon of international film found the film to be a "[p] olitically emphatically incorrect comedy as the successor to a lucrative cinema film, which gives its swipes in all directions, but does not reveal any convincing satirical potential".
