Harvey Scott Elliott (born April 4, 2003 in Chertsey ) is an English football player . He is under contract with Liverpool FC .

Career

Elliott started playing football with the Queens Park Rangers in London and then joined the youth team at Fulham FC . In the 2017/18 season he was already playing in the U18 Premier League at the age of 14 and was part of the U18 squad from the 2018/19 season. On September 18, 2018, at the age of 15, he played for the U23, the second men's team, in the game against the Wycombe Wanderers in the Football League Trophy .

On September 25, 2018, Elliott made his debut under coach Slaviša Jokanović at the age of 15 years and 174 days in the first team when he beat second division FC Millwall in the third round of the League Cup in the 81st minute of the game was substituted on. On May 4, 2019, he made his Premier League debut under coach Scott Parker when he was substituted on in a 1-0 defeat for Fulham FC by Wolverhampton Wanderers shortly before the end of the game. Another deployment in the professional team followed by the end of the season. In the U18, Elliott came to 12 appearances in the U18 Premier League, in which he scored 5 goals. He also played 5 times for the U23 in the Premier League 2.

For the 2019/20 season, Elliott moved to reigning Champions League winners Liverpool FC . There he is in the squad of Jürgen Klopp's professional team , with whom he won the UEFA Super Cup in August , but is mainly used in the youth teams. For the professional team, the 16-year-old Elliott first appeared in the League Cup at the end of September when he was in the starting line-up in the win against Milton Keynes Dons ( 3rd division ). In December 2019 Elliott and Liverpool won the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup against Flamengo Rio de Janeiro 1-0 after extra time. In July 2020 he signed his first professional contract. In his first season at Liverpool FC, Elliott appeared 12 times (2 goals) for the U23 and 7 times (one goal) for the U19 in the UEFA Youth League .
