Neco Shay Williams (born April 13, 2001 in Wrexham ) is a Welsh football player who plays in the position of right-back for Liverpool FC in the Premier League .

Career

Williams joined Liverpool FC's youth academy at the age of six and rose to the youth ranks, representing the club at U18, U19 and U23 levels and in the UEFA Youth League . He suffered a serious back injury that excluded him for most of the 2017/18 season. Two years later he won the FA Youth Cup with Liverpool.

Williams' good performance in the youth selection was rewarded when he made his debut for the senior team on October 30, 2019, with a 5-4 win on penalties (5-5 in regular time) against Arsenal in the EFL Cup was in the starting XI.
