Hattenhofen is a municipality and a village in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck .
geography
Hattenhofen is located in the Munich region , about 35 km west of the state capital.
The municipality has three officially named municipality parts :
- Haspelmoor ( village )
- Hattenhofen ( Kirchdorf )
- Loitershofen ( hamlet )
There is only the Hattenhofen district .
history
Until the 19th century
Hattenhofen was built between the years 1078 and 1098. The place belonged to the Rentamt München and the Dachau district court of the Electorate of Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .
From 1840, with the construction of the Augsburg – Munich railway line, the Haspelmoor settlement developed.
20th century
Large parts of the town were destroyed by an air raid in 1945, but were soon rebuilt.
Population development
Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 1,126 to 1,543 by 417 inhabitants or 37%.

Politics and administration
The community is a member of the Mammendorf administrative community .
Mayor is Franz Robeller ( UWG Haspelmoor ). This was the successor of Mathias Ettenberger ( voter group Dorfgemeinschaft Hattenhofen ) in 2014 and was confirmed on March 15, 2020 with 90.58% of the votes for a further six years.
The local council was filled as follows in the 2020 local elections :
- UWG: 5 seats (39.69%)
- DG: 4 seats (32.17%)
- JW: 3 seats (28.14%)
The turnout was 62.17%.
According to the information provided by the Bavarian State Office for Statistics and Data Processing, the municipal tax revenue amounted to € 986 thousand in 2012, of which € 149 thousand (net) was trade tax income.

Economy and Infrastructure
In 2012, according to official statistics, there were 26 employees at the place of work in the manufacturing sector and 40 in the trade and transport sector. In other economic sectors this figure was 44 people. There were 578 employees subject to social security contributions at the place of residence. Therefore, 468 employees had to commute from their place of residence to their place of work. There was one in the manufacturing industry and 3 in the construction industry.
In addition, there were 16 agricultural holdings in 2010 with an agricultural area of 623 ha, 558 ha of which was arable land.
