Heart Attack is the tenth studio album by the Swiss hard rock band Krokus . It contains the single releases "Everybody Rocks", "Let It Go" and "Wild Love".

background

After the disappointing predecessor Change of Address and the live album Alive and Screamin ' , the band's personnel carousel moved again: bassist Tommy Keizer and drummer Jeff Klaven resigned and were replaced by founding member Chris von Rohr and Swiss drummer Dani Crivelli. In addition, after the negative experiences with the creation of the predecessor, the band considered it necessary to change the record company. These steps should lead to a musical course correction and so the album Heart Attack , which was made in the Pink Tonstudios in Zuchwil - which is seen by members today as the last attempt to keep the band together during a deep crisis - was still discreetly glamorous Metal-provided, but more straightforward, more crocus- sounding hard rock album. Supported by the singles “Wild Love”, “Everybody Rocks” and the additional video promoted “Let It Go” as well as the live classic “Rock 'n' Roll Tonight”, the work, which featured a completely different crocus on the cover, reached Has lettering, place 87 in the American Billboard Charts and with place 5 the biggest chart success in Switzerland to date. Crocuses seemed to be back on track. After the album was released, they did a co-headliner tour with Ted Nugent through Europe and another North America tour, also as headliner. But after the last concert in New Orleans there was the next negative personal bang: the long-time members Marc Storace and Fernando von Arb, who played a decisive role in shaping the band , announced their departure due to symptoms of fatigue and management problems. The result was a temporary dissolution of crocus. Subsequently, Chris von Rohr undertook a tour through Germany, Austria and Hungary under the name Grand Slam together with singer Peter Tanner, lead guitarist Many Maurer , rhythm guitarist Tony Castell and Peter Haas on drums, some of which were played as the opening act for Bonfire . The end of Krokus seemed near at this point, but ironically Fernando von Arb reanimated with these same musicians, who were on the road with Chris von Rohr in the Grand Slam, only one year later Krokus and in this line-up, remarkably not the lead guitar in von Arb , but rather operated the bass, the successor Stampede emerged .
