Helitt Líneas Aéreas was a Spanish airline based in Santa Fe and based at Málaga Airport .
history
Helitt Líneas Aéreas was founded in 2010 and began operating on November 21, 2011 on the Malaga - Melilla route.
On February 18, 2013, the company temporarily suspended all scheduled flights and announced that it would lay off 46 of its 121 employees in order to reduce its operating losses, which amounted to around 3.5 million euros in the 2012 financial year. Since then, only charter flights and leasing have been offered. In mid-October 2013, an ATR 72-200 operated for Darwin Airline was seized in Trapani due to an open invoice from a British company.
In October 2014, the heavily indebted company filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations.
fleet
As of October 2013, the Helitt Líneas Aéreas fleet consisted of three aircraft:
- 3 ATR 72-500 (1 operated for Darwin Airline )
