Mint Airways was a Spanish charter airline based in Madrid and based at Madrid-Barajas Airport .

history

Mint Airways was launched in 2009 and began flight operations on June 20, 2009 with a Boeing 757-200 initially taken over by Flyglobespan , which was supplemented by an aircraft of the same type in the summer of 2010. At the turn of the year 2010/2011, a McDonnell Douglas MD-83 from Swiftair was also contracted, which has since been released.

22 May 2012 Mint Airways was due to the market situation and an unsuccessful search for investors in bankruptcy and ceased operations.

Mint Airways recently offered charter flights from Madrid to Cairo , Aswan and Luxor in Egypt and Amman in Jordan . However, the main business was covered by wet lease and ad hoc operations.
