Hola Airlines (Baleares Link Express SL) was a Spanish charter airline based in Palma . She operated charter and VIP flights in Europe. The main base was Palma de Mallorca Airport , next to the hubs Barajas International Airport , Madrid and Barcelona International Airport .

history

Hola Airlines began operating on May 15, 2002. It was founded by Mario Hidalgo, a former Air Europa Express manager. In 2007 and 2008, TUIfly used Hola Airlines planes in subcharter on various routes. At the beginning of 2010, the company was owned by Gadair European Airlines . Mario Hidalgo was the company's CEO at the time. In February 2010 Hola Airlines ceased operations. According to the airline, the reasons for this were the general economic crisis and a lack of demand.
