Alba Star SA is a Spanish cargo and passenger charter airline based in Palma .

history

Alba Star was founded on November 30th, 2009. Michael Harrington, who previously worked as CEO of the Spanish LTE, took over the management of the company . Most of the staff had previously worked for the Italian MyAir or LTE. The airline's largest donors are Italy Aviation Service Group , Kenobi Group and Femar . On July 30, 2010, the company received its flight permit and was able to start flight operations on the following day, July 31, 2010 with two Boeing 737-400s in the passenger version, both of which were stationed at Milan-Malpensa Airport. In January 2011, a Boeing 737-400 as a freight version followed, which, however, was stationed in Catania.

Destinations

Alba Star flies in the passenger charter for tour operators from various Italian cities to the Balearic and Canary Islands.

In spring 2013, Alba Star flew for REWE Touristik from Kassel and Erfurt with feeder flights from Rostock to Palma de Mallorca Airport .

As of summer 2020, Alba Star will be flying to Malpensa , Trapani , Lourdes and Bergamo airports .
