history
Helicópteros del Sureste was founded in 1983 and was the first helicopter company in Spain to operate scheduled passenger flights with the IATA code UV. Helicópteros del Sureste has been serving the routes Heliport Ceuta in North Africa to Málaga Airport since 1996 . The annual number of passengers in the first year was around 20,000. Since 2010 the Helipuerto de Algeciras has also been served on a scheduled service. Helicópteros del Sureste has also been the operator of the Helipuerto de la Cartuja in Seville since the 1992 Expo. Helicópteros del Sureste flies forest fire and disaster relief missions for the government authorities.
Equity stake
In 2003 Helicópteros del Sureste founded the INAER group together with Helicsa Helicópteros . Since this year Helicópteros del Sureste has taken over the "on-shore" part in INAER's flight service and also operates the emergency doctor's helicopter in the province of Seville . The INAER Group operates an international fleet of around 305 helicopters and employs around 1,400 people worldwide.
