Air Europa Express is the brand name of the Spanish airline Aeronova, SL based in Llucmajor on Mallorca . The company is a subsidiary of Air Europa and its parent company Globalia.

history

The airline Aeronova was founded in 1996 and offered six aircraft, two ATR 42-300s and four Fairchild Swearingen Metro III , charter and cargo flights in Europe and North Africa, leased their aircraft to other companies and ran a flight school. In November 2015, Aeronova was bought by Air Europa in order to offer low-cost flights across Europe on behalf of Air Europa. In addition, she was to receive eleven Embraer 195 from the parent company . Aeronova has been operating flights under the Air Europa Express brand since January 2016 . Air Europa Express received the first two Embraer 195s in June 2016 and operated them from Madrid to Lisbon and Brussels . The ATR 42 were phased out in August 2016.
