Herbert Lange (publicist)

Herbert Lange (born August 9, 1908 in Dresden ; † May 19, 1971 in Schärding ) was a German- Austrian painter , draftsman , writer , journalist and publicist .

Live and act

Long studied philosophy and psychology at the universities of Vienna and Dresden . From 1939 he lived in Linz , later in Wernstein am Inn . He was u. a. Member of the Austrian PEN Club , the Academy of Performing Arts Hamburg and the Innviertel Artists' Guild . For a long time he worked as the cultural editor of the Upper Austrian News . Lange wrote numerous biographies that were published in the relevant Upper Austrian newspapers, magazines and yearbooks:
