The Herculis is an internationally important athletics meeting that is held annually in the Stade Louis II in Monaco .
The first Herculis was carried out on the initiative of Prince Albert in 1987. From 1998 to 2002 the Herculis was part of the IAAF Golden League series , and then to the IAAF Super Grand Prix . From 2003 to 2005 it was held as the World Athletics Finals . From 2010 the Herculis will be part of the newly created IAAF Diamond League .
