Houli culture
The Houli culture ( Chinese 后 李 文化 , Pinyin Hòulǐ Wénhuà , English Houli Culture , 8200-7800 before today) was an early Neolithic culture in Shandong , China . The eponymous Houli site was discovered in the Linzi district of Zibo in Shandong Province and excavated from 1989 to 1990.
The Houli site ( Houli yizhi ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-114) since 2006 .
