Instone Real Estate is a listed German project developer for residential real estate based in Essen .

The company was created in 2017 from the merger of the real estate developers Formart and GRK-Holding . Instone Real Estate went public in February 2018 and was promoted to the SDAX in August 2019 . According to the company, around 1000 residential units were developed annually between 2014 and 2016 and handed over to owner-occupiers or private and institutional investors. In August 2019, the company's development portfolio comprised 47 development projects valued at a total sales volume of 5.1 billion euros.

The Instone share has been part of the SDAX index of Deutsche Börse since August 29, 2019 . Instone is replacing the IT service provider Cancom , which was promoted to the MDAX on an unscheduled basis .
