history

Corestate Capital was founded in 2006 by Ralph Winter and Thomas Landschreiber and works with its strategic partner, the German Corestate Capital Advisors, on acquisitions and administration. In spring 2013 Corestate Capital founded its own real estate and property management company, Capera Immobilien Service GmbH, as a platform for investment, asset and property management. In August 2013, Intershop Holding AG invested in Corestate Capital AG as part of a capital increase. In February 2015 Corestate Capital founded a joint venture with Inmobiliaria Espacio, a project development and asset management company based in Madrid / Spain, as well as with its sister company OHL Desarrollos, a project developer also based in Madrid. The purpose of the joint venture “Iberian Corestate Capital Advisors SL” was to bundle the expertise, market knowledge and networks of the companies. The joint venture was dissolved again at the end of 2016.

In July 2016, Corestate bought 31 retail properties in 30 German cities for 115 million euros. These cities include Duisburg , Limburg , Mönchengladbach and Schwerin .

In 2016, Intershop Holding sold its stake in Corestate to Corestate's main shareholder Ralph Winter, who now holds around 90% of Corestate's shares.

The real estate investment manager Corestate has been listed in the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since October 2016 ; in March 2017 the share switched to the new Scale segment. In March 2018, the company was promoted to the SDAX .

In December 2016, Corestate announced that it would take over 95% of their shares in the asset management company Hannover Leasing from Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen and the Sparkassen- und Giroverband Hessen-Thüringen . The completion of the transaction was approved by BaFin in June 2017 .

In July 2017, Corestate acquired HFS Helvetic Financial Services AG based in Wollerau ( Switzerland ). HFS is one of the leading providers of mezzanine financing in the German residential and commercial real estate market. Corestate is thus expanding its range of services to include mezzanine real estate financing and expanding the fund business.

In September 2017, Corestate acquired all shares in Atos Capital.
