Press review
“You immediately know where the wind is blowing from: We are dealing with a bard, with one of those poets who are firmly convinced that children should have one thing above all else: their own mind. After the third chord it also turns out: Gerald Jatzek has got the hang of it, he knows how to lure children out of the reserve and contacts them immediately. And finally, when Jatzek performs the song of the ancestress from his 'Raubauken-Rhimen', the lion is completely loose. The children sing along and squeal with pleasure - even those who appeared with diligent parents and in their ironed shirts. Because this is not about education, but about dissolute manners: 'The ancestor of Burg Glockenhaus never takes off her socks. She wears the same gray pair for the two hundred and twelve year. '"
“When groups of schoolchildren and their teachers stream into the Berliner Festspiele from all directions, one thing is clear: the Berlin International Literature Festival has begun. This September, at the 12th edition of the festival, the International Children's and Young People's Literature section once again grew strongly. 27 authors and illustrators from all over the world gave each other the handle; Authors who have a name in the international children's and youth literature scene, but also those who can still be discovered in this country. "
“He also writes poetry, says the moderator. He could now read one. There is silence over the hall, not a devout one, rather a frightened one. Salah Naoura just read from Dilip and the Big Bang so funny . This is a book about a nine-year-old boy who suddenly has a brother, an adopted man from India, who stirs up the family. And now something like that. The man even knows his poems by heart and begins: "You are so wonderfully wicked" - and has already captured the 400 children in front of him again. "I don't know what that is about either / I think you suck up." So that's how it sounds when monsters declare their love for each other. When he asks if he should read something from the book, he yells “Yeah!”. The premiere was a success. Salah Naouras , because he read from this book for the first time, that of the International Literature Festival Berlin , because it is the first event on the big stage in the Haus der Berliner Festspiele on Monday morning.
