The 3rd international tennis tournament in Zinnowitz took place from June 30th to July 7th 1957 in the Baltic resort of Zinnowitz .

After the average age of the four individual finalists was 37 years old last year, this time an age limit of 25 years was introduced and the tournament was declared a junior tournament. In addition to the top young players from the GDR, players from the Federal Republic, Poland and Romania also took part. Other Eastern European countries canceled their participation at short notice, which meant that only nine participants took part in the women's competition.

The singles titles were won by Horst Stahlberg and Eva Mannschatz , who was also successful in doubles with Inge Wild . The men's doubles went to the Romanians Eugen Cristea and Constantin Năstase . The Polish couple Katharina Gerigk and Bogdan Maniewski were successful in mixed doubles .
