The 6th international tennis tournament from Zinnowitz took place from June 26th to July 3rd 1960 in the Baltic Sea resort of Zinnowitz .

In the absence of the Czechoslovak defending champion Pavel Korda , this time the Australian Alan Lane won the men's singles in the final against the (West) Berliner Gottfried Dallwitz . This had eliminated Horst Stahlberg in the semifinals . In the women's singles, Zsófia Broszmann managed to revenge against Klára Bardóczy in a new edition of the previous year's final . Broszmann also won the mixed doubles alongside their compatriot András Szikszay , who were able to repeat their success from two years ago in the final against Änne Lindner and Peter Fährmann .

The finals in the men's and women's doubles could not be played due to thunderstorms and were decided by lot. The luckier ones were Peter Fährmann and Werner Rautenberg against Bernd Kube and Alan Lane from Hamburg and Olga Široká and Zdena Strachová against Klára Bardóczy and Zsófia Broszmann. Strachová had won this title two years earlier.
