The 22nd international tennis tournament from Zinnowitz took place from June 27th to July 4th 1976 in the Baltic Sea resort of Zinnowitz .

The men's trophy was won by the first GDR team with Thomas Emmrich and Andreas John . As the defending champion, Emmrich then also won the men's singles and the two stood together in the double final, which was lost to the two Czechoslovaks Stanislav Birner and Jaroslav Čech . John also reached the semi-finals in singles. In the women's category, the Cup of Nations was won by Czechoslovakia by Mária Kočišková and Jana Sedláčková . Sedláčková then also won the women's singles. The women's doubles went to the two Polish women Barbara Olsza and Danuta Szwaj .
