The 30th Zinnowitz International Tennis Tournament took place from June 25th to July 1st, 1984 in the Baltic Sea resort of Zinnowitz . The tournament was supposed to start again on a Sunday, but due to the bad weather the start was postponed to Monday.

The GDR won the Men's Cup of Nations with Thomas Emmrich and Ralf Lichtenfeld . The two then also won the men's doubles. Emmrich won the men's singles for the tenth time. Czechoslovakia won the Women's Cup of Nations with Nora Bajčíková and Ingrid Klestincová . The Hungarian Éva Rózsavölgyi defended the women's singles title . The two Romanians Aurelia Gheorghe and Teodora Tache were successful in women's doubles .
