The 9th international tennis tournament in Zinnowitz took place from June 30th to July 7th, 1963 in the Baltic resort of Zinnowitz .

The triple winner was Irina Yermolova, now married from the Soviet Union, who won the women's doubles with Czechoslovak Vlasta Kodešová and the mixed with Vyacheslav Jegorow . Ion Țiriac was twice successful, in doubles with his compatriot Petre Marmureanu . Of the Chinese who competed in Zinnowitz for the first time, Chu Chen-hua reached the final in the men's singles after defeating 17-year-old Jan Kodeš in the semifinals . Eva Johannes and Hella Vahley reached the semi-finals in singles and the final together in doubles.
