The 14th international tennis tournament in Zinnowitz took place from June 30th to July 7th, 1968 in the Baltic Sea resort of Zinnowitz .
The three-time winner was the Russian Vyacheslav Jegorow , in the men's doubles with the Romanian Codin Dumitrescu and in the mixed with his compatriot Marina Tschuwyrina . The women’s singles went to Hella Riede and the women’s doubles to the two Czechoslovakians Olga Lendlová and Marie Neumanová , who won the final against Brigitte Hoffmann and Hella Riede. With Werner Rautenberg , Riede also reached the mixed final. The almost 15-year-old Thomas Emmrich took part in this tournament for the first time .

Remarks
- ↑ Werner Rautenberg had been given a sun treatment that was too high due to the carelessness of a nurse, and he was therefore banned from playing by the sports doctor because of a burn injury.
